LIVING ROOM is a scenic contemporary research work that emerges from the dialogue between two artists and their respective disciplines: dance/ body moving and visual projections.
Numacircuit Festival invites Simone Marin and Carlota Mantecón to collaborate with each other and create a scenic piece therefore. After receiving the invitation, and without previously knowing each other, they meet in a living room of a house, where they start a dialogue on the basis of their personal ways of communication.
At the centre of this narrative is the taking up of the space, as well as the fictitious emotion of a woman’s sollitude at a living room of a house. The body is affected by the environment and that feeling of loneliness. Simone supports or clashes the movement of the body while it transits the space.
